H. C. R. 4--"Providing for an adjournment of the Legislature until February 12, 1997."
Whereas, The first regular session of the 73rd Legislature assembled on this date, the second Wednesday in January, 1997, organized by the election of officers of the two houses, and the two houses in joint assembly opened and published the returns of the election of state officers held on the 5th day of November, 1996, all as prescribed by Section 18, Article VI of the Constitution of the State; and the two houses adopted rules to govern their proceedings and separately and concurrently acted on certain other matters incident to organization; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That having complied with the provisions of said section of the Constitution, when adjournment is taken by the two houses this day, such adjournment shall be until February 12, 1997, at 12 o'clock meridian.
